Modern Kitchen Leeds

Here we have a beautiful kitchen designed by Kreativ Kitchens in Leeds. They have created a space that offers both light and dark elements that has resulted in a dreamy living space for  the customer. We manufactured the worktops and island, using Silestone quartz in shade Calacatta Gold. The surface offers a classic marble design, with a white base broken up by dramatic veining patterns of gold and grey. This suits the overall kitchen space, pairing well with the light and dark units, still infitting with the monochrome palette. The customer opted for a simple worktop design, a folded edge with matching upstands, once again in keeping with the simplicity of the overall design. A folded edge is clean and simple, creating a depth in the worktop.

Silestone is a very popular choice for kitchen worktops, for a variety of reasons. One benefit to this product is that it is man made. This mixture of natural stone, resins and dye results in a reinforced stone that is capable of resisting scratches and stains, as well as temperature exposure. No staining means the surface repels things that may damage the stone, but it is also non-porous, allowing it to also repel bacteria. The surface can’t absorb harmful bacteria that can sit on the surface, hence making it brilliant for kitchens and high traffic areas. It would also be unfair to suggest that a man made stone wouldn’t be as aesthetic as a natural product, as this is far from the truth. They are specifically designed to emulate natural products, to provide the customer with a product just as beautiful, with an enhanced performance.
