Modern Kitchen Display Rotherham

Here we have a beautiful, contemporary kitchen designed by Ultimate Kitchens who are based in Rotherham. We manufactured this worktop for one of their showroom displays using Dekton, an ultra-compact surface from Cosentino. They opted for the shade Keon, a colour that takes its inspiration from concrete, resulting in an industrial style material. It suits this kitchen design beautifully, with its clean lines and monotone colour palette. The designers opted for neutral tones, such as dark grey and white for their cabinets, keeping it simple and allowing the worktop to compliment the design. There is a backsplash panel behind the sink that continues the whole length of that wall, really showing off the worktop, and showcasing a possible design element to their customers. They also opted for a Shark nose profile edge, which is exciting, yet simple. We also love the addition of neon light strips in this modern space.

Dekton is also a fabulous choice for the kitchen. Its ultra-compact make up is created by mixing raw materials such as quartz, glass and porcelain, resulting in an ultra resistant surface. Any design can be applied to the slabs, meaning there is a vast range of colours, designs and finishes to choose from. This also means Dekton will have the perfect choice for your projects, such as the Keon used here. The surface is renowned for its ability to resist stains, scratches and extreme temperatures, making it brilliant for kitchen surfaces as you don’t have to worry about it. Its strong form allows you to cut things directly on the surface without ever chipping it; place pans directly on to it and its non porous surface means it won’t stain and is also antibacterial! We also love that the textured slabs are anti-slip, making them perfect for outdoor applications, as well as flooring. Dekton truly is a fabulous all rounder.
