Light, Country Style Kitchen Display

Here we have a kitchen display in Ultimate Kitchens showroom, based in Peterborough. Their display combines coloured, shaker style cabinets with a simplistic worktop, resulting in a design which will open up any kitchen. The worktops have been made using Silestone’s Calacatta Gold, a popular choice for many homes. It is a white based stone, with thin, grey veining to provide a contrast. This minimalistic design allows for a vast range of colours and styles to suit the stone, with this display being a wonderful example. It is paired here with baby blue shaker cabinets, a common choice in farmhouse style designs. This style is emphasised with the inserts of wood on the worktops, again a popular choice when going down the country route. 

Details worth noting if we take a closer look at the stone, it has had drainer grooves lasered directly into the surface either side of the sink. This is not only a useful feature in a kitchen, but also looks seamless in the design. The worktop has also been given a Scotia profile edge, adding a luxurious and elegant finish, a minor yet stunning detail. 

When it comes to performance, Silestone is a fantastic option for kitchens. It is a man made compound developed by combining 90% natural, crushed quartz with resin and dye which results in a surface that is extraordinarily hard and resilient.
