Light, Bright Kitchen

Here we have a beautiful, simple kitchen, designed by Worktop Studio, Doncaster. The client opted for Natura “Chalk” for their worktops, which provides a clean canvas for the rest of the kitchen design. This quartz has a pale, white base with clear flecks throughout that catch the light for a subtle sparkle, yet has an overall matte finish.
For this design, the colour scheme is very neutral, from the shake cabinets to the stone, creating a minimalistic space. This keeps the space light and open. However, the island has a circular feature made using a darker stone to create a direct contrast to the rest of the room.
To keep the design coherent, it continues to the upstands, as well as having drainer grooves cut into the worktop. This helps maintain the continuity and flow within the design. Within the overall design, the bi-fold doors and large skylight allow for a lot of natural light in the space, once again maintaining a light and airy purity felt within this space.
