Industrial Kitchen Doncaster
This kitchen designed by Kitchen Studio, Doncaster, brilliantly mixes classic and contemporary design. It features two colours of Dekton, an ultracompact stone used here for worktops. The primary option is Dekton Bergen, inspired by natural Portobello stone, Bergen strives for perfection in tone, structure and depth. The beauty of its greyish veins with sculptural pattern, on an off-white base are loaded with personality and elegance. It provides a contrast to the grey cabinets. They have a concrete style design, as well as being handleless to offer a sleek, industrial feel. Bergen adds a luxurious element to the space, breaking up the industrial interior.Â
It also features a Dekton Kreta breakfast island area. Kreta offers the look of concrete. In contrast, concrete is used in construction and building but is not practical for areas in contact with water. It can be applied to kitchen worktops, splashbacks and bathrooms without worries. In addition to great aesthetics, Kreta is resistant to stains and scratches. Dekton is made by mixing a highly developed mix of porcelain, quartz, glass and raw materials. It results in an ultracompact surface that is highly resistant to heat, freeze, scratches, staining. In addition, it is suitable for both indoors and outdoors applications. In addition, Dekton resists UV rays, ensuring the material won’t degrade nor fade with the passage of time. Similarly, it has low thermal expansion, ensuring there won’t be thermal shocks when exposed to either high heat and/or freezing. And also, its high abrasion resistance offers a surface that is easy to work on, ensuring they never require sealing.
