Here we have a beautiful kitchen display designed by Luna Living, Lincoln. We are highlighting the use of Dekton by Silestone in the shade Trilium which has been used for the worktops and continues into a panel of wall cladding. This creates a continuous design that coherently flows together, resulting in a dreamy, contemporary design. As a colour, Trillium offers an industrial style, thanks to its meld of brown and grey tones. You can see here the designers at Luna have taken this on board, and paired the worktops with a dark kitchen, black, handleless cupboard doors, with a dark wood feature that continues up the walls alongside the Trilium cladding. Behind the sink we see a copper mirrored backsplash, which complements the overall design beautifully. All the elements of this kitchen are dark to keep with the industrial design, which is contrasted by the paler island and breakfast area. The wall feature and island offer a wood detail that work well alongside the industrial offerings found in other aspects of the design.

The product itself, Dekton, is a remarkable stone with a multitude of beneficial properties that make it a great choice for a kitchen. These include a high scratch, stain and temperature resistance, meaning you can be mildly careless when you are busy in the heart of a home. It is also highly UV resistant, so you are able to carry on the interior design out, allowing you to keep things coherent. Aside from practicality, Dekton comes in large format slabs, as well as a variety of thicknesses making it a fabulous choice for larger scale projects and products further than simply kitchen worktops or wall cladding. It also comes in a wide selection of colours and designs, meaning you will always find something to suit your project perfectly.
