Classic Stone For A Contemporary Design

This beautiful kitchen was designed by Rose & Co Homes who are based in Worksop. They made the customers’ design ideas come alive, and together with us, we created their worktops and matching table top. Both have been made using Cambria quartz in shade Summerhill, which as you can see is a meld of white and greys with darker flecks, all clouded together and resulting in a stunning surface. The overall theming of this kitchen design is neutral with light tones of grey and white amongst more of the soft and hard furningishing in the whole room, so Summerhill was a fabulous choice. Having the table and worktops made using the same material creates a coherent design, and ties multiple elements of a larger space together. 

Cambria is an amazing product that is effortlessly versatile for the home. It has a range of benefits, starting with it being a non-porous surface which is resistant to staining and does not need resealing, unlike granite. Its non-porous surface reduces the potential for bacterial growth. Cambria’s composition is 93% quartz. Quartz is a hard natural stone and Cambria combines this with a small amount of resin and colour pigment which produces a hardy and resilient stone.
