Monochrome Bathroom

This bathroom was designed by the team at Bathroom Studio, based in Doncaster. They created a functional storage unit as an extension of the boxed plinth unit that houses the toilet cistern. Instead of simply opting for the matching tile, the customer chose Sensa Black Beauty granite from Silestone. This Indian granite with a black base is full of white streaks that resemble the foam of the waves in an indomitable ocean. It provides a beautiful contrast to the white, marbled tile, complimenting the overall design. Incorporating a stone into a design adds a natural element to the space, perfect for a bathroom, adding to the overall tranquillity we associate with this room. 

The design is both functional and stylish, creating a useful organisation system to store products and accessories, such as how the customers styled theirs. It takes away the need for additional storage units, decluttering the space. The stone has a matte, textured finish too, also contrasting the high shine tiles. This additional texture also adds another naturalistic element to the space. Overall, we love this bathroom design and the unique, bespoke use of Sensa granite.
