Modern, Monotone Kitchen
This industrial style kitchen has been designed by the team at Kitchen Studio, Doncaster. It features handle less cabinets, a dark colour pallet and Dekton worktops which all emulate a contemporary design. The star of the show is the Orix stone. It has a worn cement style in which industrial aesthetics are characterised by being iron, cold and broken. Representing a dichotomy between the new and the worn, the colour combination is based on different shades of grey, blue and green. The customers opted to really showcase the material, using it for their worktops, upstands, island and windowsills. To showcase it further, as a design option they chose to have waterfall edges at the end of the worktop runs and island, allowing it to be appreciated further.Â
To compliment the design, the cabinets are grey and their handle less design extends the contemporary feel the customers were wanting to achieve. The pale flooring and white walls keeps the space bright and open, complimenting the kitchen/living area the customers have within their home. This is helped by the addition of large patio doors and multiple windows, allowing for natural light to flood in too.Â
