Industrial Open Plan Kitchen

This is a wonderful living space designed by Kitchen Studio, based in Doncaster. It features Dekton worktops in colour Orix. Dekton Orix has a worn cement style, in which industrial aesthetics are characterised by being iron, cold and broken. The colour combination is based on different shades of grey, blue and green, a cool toned collection that really emulates the industrial style the customers were hoping to achieve. This has been paired with grey, handle less cabinets that mimic the Orix beautifully, creating the perfect duo for a contemporary kitchen. 

The worktops feature deep, matching upstands as well as a multi height island and breakfast bar. They opted for mitered edge profiles, offering clean lines, as well as giving the illusion of deeper worktops. This works well for Dekton Orix, as it encourages the essence of thick, concrete slabs, again suiting the industrial interior design. Dekton is also brilliant for high traffic areas, such as kitchens, thanks to its long list of properties. It is a man-made quartz based product that has strong durability, stain resistance and is anti-bacterial. All of these benefits explain how brilliant Dekton is for worktops.
