Modern Bright Open Kitchen

This modern kitchen and living space was designed by Kreativ Kitchens, one of our Leeds based customers. We manufactured the worktop and island using Silestone Lagoon quartz, a wonderful choice from the customer. Lagoon is a simple grey white quartz with faint mottling, a great monochrome colour palette to build a design around. It opens up a wide range of design possibilities, and this customer stuck to neutral tones, opting for modern elements throughout. They chose handle less cabinets that almost appear to float in the space, thanks to the natural light flooding in from the skylights and patio doors. The light reflects off the luxurious, marble effect floor and seamlessly meets the brilliant white walls and ceiling to fill the room. Gorgeous Lagoon quartz worktops mirror the luminosity of the room for a unique effect that seems to cut a balancing linear profile through the space. The high gloss finish adds a distinctively sleek and feminine quality to the design which beautifully contrasts with the dark grey units. An impressive mirror splashback gives an ultra-modern and sophisticated feel.

Silestone is a very popular choice for worktops, as they have performance properties that are hard to be beaten. Lagoon is a more hard-wearing surface that is easier to maintain and does not require any coating or sealants. It is a more convenient worktop than the Bianco Carrara Marble, which it is styled after. This is one of many worktops with the anti-bacterial treatment, ensuring that worktops are bacteria-free and safe for health care and food preparation use, making it great for kitchens, such as this project.  This white Silestone quartz is made out of 90% natural quartz, ensuring that surfaces are durable.
