Classic Kitchen With A Colourful Twist

Check out this classic, shaker style kitchen that has had a contemporary overhaul resulting in a brilliant fusion of design. We manufactured the worktops for this project for Kreativ Kitchens, Leeds, who are the designers. They worked alongside their customers to bring their dream kitchen to life, and we love how it turned out. They opted for Silestone quartz worktops in colour White Storm. It has a white foundation and very fine, light grey speckle with a uniform appearance. It has a modern, bright feel with a small amount of warm pigment to create a soft ambience for any space. The gentle undertones of the speckle offers a fresh, yet uncomplicated character to this stone material. This provides a brilliant contrast to the blue shaker style cabinets and compliments the gold hardware accents. Opting for a white worktop also kept the space open and bright. The kitchen is nestled in an open plan living space, so the use of white throughout as well as the large skylight and hipped roof brighten up the design beautifully. We also love how they chose a wood floor to incorporate a natural texture back into the contemporary space. 

Silestone White Storm is a simple, clean and effective quartz worktop design that can be installed seamlessly into any kitchen. This off white quartz is made up of 93% natural quartz and 7% resin, making it an extremely hard-wearing material. It is a surface that will withstand the wear and tear of daily life for many years to come. If you are looking for a white quartz surface with a little added character, then we cannot recommend Silestone any more.
