Feature Island Display

This is a kitchen display designed by Kreativ Kitchens, based in Leeds, for their West Yorkshire showroom. Our focus here is the Ultracompact, Dekton worktops in colour Kelya. Its design features a black base stone with strong veining patterns in a pale, contrasting colour. The design is somewhat striking, and makes a stunning feature in the kitchen. It has been used to create an island with edges folded to 50mm and a waterfall end panel, resulting in a fabulous centrepiece for a room. Choosing to profile the island this way creates a coherent, modern design which flows, like a waterfall! To continue the fluidity, Kreativ Kitchens chose wall cladding in the same material, Dekton Keyla. Dekton has so many application possibilities, with two shown in this design.
Other elements which tie this project together include the choice of a matte black tap and sink. These complement the worktop and overall design. We also love the brushed gold feature on the island front. The designers have paired various gold accessories in the space which complement Kelya beautifully. This overall design is contemporary, however Kelya could be styled numerous ways allowing for so much room to play, depending on personal preference.
